The Jack Welch Memorial Bridge at Picture Canyon was first dedicated by the JWalkers to Jack Welch, a perennial hiker, Picture Canyon advocate, and Flagstaff Citizen of the Year. With the addition of beautiful Hopi artwork, we gather once again to celebrate Jack Welch and this space — now enriched with cultural expression and artistic storytelling that honors his legacy, the land, and its original stewards. This beautiful artwork is by Duane Koyawena. You can either meet at the footbridge at 1pm, or meet at the Picture Canyon trail head at 12:30pm, and we can hike in together.
