Workshops
If you’re curious about starting plants from seed, join us for our free workshop, Starting from Seed! Paige Yeakle, SSLUG Garden Coordinator, will walk you through the seeding and germination process, container and soil options, ideal growing conditions, and share her top tips for success. You’ll also get hands-on experience sowing seeds with guidance from experienced growers. Help us start seeds for the NAU SSLUG Garden and Community Gardens! Plus, you’ll have the option to start your own seeds to take home! We encourage you to register so we can plan for workshop logistics. If you don’t register, you’re still welcome to stop by, but please note that seating and materials may be limited. This event will take place at the NAU SSLUG Garden, 19 W McConnell Dr. Please feel free to park off-campus and walk, bike, or take bus route 10 to the workshop location.
