Full Moon Bike Ride - or hike!

PROSE - Open Space hosts a full moon walk on one of our beautiful Open Space properties--a different spot each month. We start about a half-hour before the moon rises, walk on either a loop trail or out-and-back, and watch the full moon rise. Come check out your open spaces, and meet new people! Check each month for specific starting time, meeting place, and what trail we'll walk for that full moon. If biking, bring a bike in good condition with headlight and taillight. If hiking, wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a red-light flashlight and hiking poles, but we'll have extras! This month, we'll have a bike ride (though you can hike it too, if you'd like!) on the Karen Cooper FUTS trail. We'll start by the cabin at Frances Short Pond and ride north up to FALA (Flagstaff Arts & Leadership Academy) and back. If you've never been on this trail, you're in for a treat! It's about 6 miles, relatively flat with one big hill.
