Drop-Off Day - Coconino County Health and Human Services

Special Event
The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office, Flagstaff Police Department, and Coconino County invite you to attend this free community event. We are excited to partner with the Flagstaff Hazardous Products Center, Coconino County, Flagstaff Police Department, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Ponderosa Medical Waste Services, Elevated Shredding, and Westech Recyclers to put your waste in the right place. At Drop-off Day, the following items will be accepted: • Expired or unwanted medications, vitamins, or supplements • Aerosol cans • Batteries • CFLs (light bulbs)/ fluorescent tubes/LEDs • Electronic waste such as computers and printers • Medical syringes • Sensitive documents for onsite shredding (2 boxes per vehicle max) We will not be accepting: • CRT televisions • Liquid waste such as latex paint, cough syrup, and other chemicals • Illegal drugs • Car seats • Commercial waste

Volunteer Notes
Volunteers Please arrive at the volunteer area (shown in green) by 9:35 am to fill-out volunteer paperwork. Free parking is available in the Flagstaff Police Department parking lot. All volunteers will collect items and direct traffic during the event. When you arrive, I will provide more information about where you will be stationed. The Sustainability Office will provide water and snacks (for volunteers and vendors) at the volunteer area. You are more than welcome to bring your own snacks/ water and leave them at the booth for safekeeping. Let me
