Community Clean Up

Help us wrap up the Winter Recreation Cleanup Series with a special Earth Day project focused on community wildfire safety and invasive plant removal! Volunteers will head into nearby alleys to remove overgrown vegetation and dry plant material that poses a fire risk to the surrounding homes and neighborhood or contribute to an invasive species removal project in the Rio De Flag stream channel. We’ll provide tools, direction, and support. All you have to do is register here on Volunteer Flagstaff, spread the word to friends and family, and show up ready to help! It’s a great way to spend a morning outdoors, meet fellow volunteers, and make a visible difference for the local neighborhood before enjoying the city’s Earth Day festivities.
