Help remove invasive plant species near the City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office! Discover how to identify common invasive plant species and best practices for removal. The benefit of this work is to improve native plant and animal habitats. Please come to these events prepared with the following: -Water -Sun Protection -Protective Clothing -Gardening Gloves (gloves will also be provided at the event) Volunteers will do the following: - Walk on uneven surfaces, including sloped channel banks. - Use hand tools such as clippers, loppers, root slayers, and shovels. - Be able to crouch or bend over - Place invasive species in the provided trash bags.
