Closing Unsanctioned Social Trails Volunteer Day  - Picture Canyon Natural & Cultural Preserve

We'll meet at the trailhead, 3920 N El Paso Flagstaff Rd in Flagstaff. We will be restoring unsanctioned social trails and old roads to their natural state, by digging down 3-4" inches to loosen the soil, hauling and spreading mulch, spreading native grass/flower seed, and covering that with jute netting (held down by landscape staples) and then slash (dead branches, pine needles, pine cones). And then hope for rain or snow! Wear sturdy shoes and long pants, and bring work gloves, water, snacks, and lunch. We will supply all of the tools and materials. Thank you!
