A spot that has many invasive weeds (Knapweed and Scotch Thistle) has come to our attention...the FUTS trail that starts at the southeast corner of Butler Ave & Fourth St, going up to Dog Pound Road. Since things are in full flower, we need to try to deal with it pretty quickly.  All volunteers are welcome on Tuesday 8/11, Thursday 8/13, and/or Friday 8/14 from 7-9am. Wear sturdy shoes, long pants and sleeves, a sunhat and sunscreen. Bring work gloves and drinking water, but we'll have extras! We'll supply tools and lawn bags.
