Trail restoration work at Picture Canyon Natural & Cultural Preserve. There are a number of old unauthorized roads and trails at Picture Canyon that we are closing down. We do this by digging down to loosen the soil 3-4," bring in and spreading mulch (by wheelbarrow), spreading native grass and flower seed, laying jute netting over it and securing the netting with landscape staples, and then laying slash (pine needles, leaves, branches) on it.
