Volunteer at the Flood Recovery Disaster Assistance Center Help your neighbors get back on their feet after the recent flooding. The City of Flagstaff is looking for friendly, patient volunteers to staff the Disaster Assistance Center. Residents affected by the flooding will come to the center to share their needs and get connected with the right recovery resources. What you’ll do: Greet residents and help them complete intake forms, including online forms. Fill out forms for residents on provided computers or tablets when needed Follow up on referrals so residents get connected with the support they need Hand out resources available at the center Who we’re looking for: Comfortable using computers, tablets, and online forms Patient, compassionate, and a good listener Able to handle personal information respectfully and confidentially Bilingual volunteers are especially welcome Training: A short orientation will be provided before your first shift. No disaster experience needed. Even one shift can make a real difference for a neighbor during a hard time!
