Discover the fascinating history of how Flagstaff’s food systems have evolved overtime and how McAllister Ranch was once owned by Frances B. McAllister who sold the land in 1993. The remaining city owned portion, featuring historic barns and a house, is now being developed as an urban farm incubator for community use. Along the way, learn about the area's heritage and other unique facts with Peter Frederici from Northern Arizona University and Superyard Farms. This is a great opportunity to explore local history, sustainable agriculture, and cultural preservation.
